EUGENE, Ore. – Arizona (9-8) fell 4-0 to No. 22 Oregon (11-6) on Friday at the Student Tennis Center in Eugene, Ore.
Oregon cruised through the doubles matches. Alyssa Tobita/Rifanty Kahfiani won over
Camila Wesbrooks/
Paris Corley on court two 6-0. The Ducks secured the doubles point when
Mary Lewis/
Marie Van Aelst fell to No. 80 Shweta Sangwan/Julia Eshet 7-6 on court one, leaving the third match unfinished between
Devin Chypyha/
Gitte Heynemans and Nia Rose/Paiton Wagner on court three.

The Ducks continued their success into singles play when Rifanty Kahfiani won over
Sophia Thomas 6-0, 6-1.
Devin Chypyha fell to No. 102 Alyssa Tobita 6-1, 6-3 on court two. Daniela Nasser clinched the match for Oregon when she defeated
Marie Van Aelst 6-1, 6-3 on court five.
"Oregon played a complete match today," said head coach
Vicky Maes. "They were much more aggressive than us right from the start and we never recovered. We cannot come out slow and expect to work our way into the match against a team like this. We must be more willing to go after our shots and take our chances. We have the talent, but mentally we are struggling to put it all together."
The Cats return to Tucson next weekend to host California on Friday, March 30 at 1:30 p.m. MST and Stanford on Saturday, March 31 at 12 p.m. MST.Â
