No. 11 Arizona Finishes Competition at the Pac-12 South Invitational

No. 11 Arizona finished competition at the Pac-12 South Invitational on Sunday. The Wildcats fell 4-1 in both of the day's matches against No. 4 USC and No. 16 California and now stand at 9-7 on the season.

In Arizona's first match of the day, the team fell 4-1 to the 4th-ranked USC Trojans in their first matchup of the season. The No. 5 pair of Jonny Baham and Brooke Burling earned the Cats lone victory over the Trojans Cammie Dorn and Maja Kaiser in three sets, 11-21, 21-19, 16-14.

No. 16 California defeated the Wildcats 4-1 with Arizona's No. 2 team notching a victory. California's Jessica Gaffney and Iya Lindahl fell to Cats Olivia Hallaran and Kacey Nady, 23-25, 19-21. UA will face No. 16 California in the next home tournament, the Wildcat Spring Challenge on April 7.

Next up, Arizona will head to Baton Rouge, La to compete in the LSU Tournament, the Cats fifth consecutive road tournament, starting on March 30.
