Tucson, Ariz. – The University of Arizona track and field program will compete in the Stanford Invitational on Friday, March 30th. The two-day competition will be held at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field. The Stanford Invitational will be live streamed by FloTrack with a paid subscription beginning at 9 a.m. MST on Friday.

Last Time Out: The Cats competed in the Aztec Invitational in San Diego, Calif. Leading the Cats in California were Bryant O'Geogia and
Umajesty Williams, who both rewrote Arizona's record books.

Bryant's Got Bounce: Bryant O'Georgia competed in the high jump at the Aztec Invitational. The junior cleared 2.22m to win the contest, set a new PR, and set the No. 2 mark on the NCAA list. O'Georgia's mark is good for a share of the No. 5 jump in Arizona's history, tied with Roger Curtis who cleared 2.22m in 1978.

"Magic" Maj Williams: Freshman
Umajesty Williams competed in three events at the Aztec Invitational. On day one, Williams set a PR in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.86, good for a first place finish and the No. 11 mark in the NCAA. On day two, Williams ran a time of 46.14 in the 400-meter dash to be the first collegian to cross the finish line, second overall. Williams' 400-meter dash mark was good for the No. 4 time in the NCAA this season, and set the University of Arizona freshman record in the event. To close out the meet, Williams ran a 46.40 split in the 4x400-meter relay to help his team secure a first place finish with a time of 3:10.05, good for the No. 17 mark in the NCAA.
