Marie Van Aelst fell to Constance Branstine on court five, 6-2, 6-3. Madison Westby beat
Camila Wesbrooks 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 on court four, putting USC up 3-0.
Paris Corley won the sole point for Arizona when she defeated Becca Weissman 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 on court two. Angela Kulikov clinched the match for the Trojans when she won over
Mary Lewis 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.
"We played a very tough match today," said head coach
Vicky Maes. "The doubles were really close and we had a great opportunity to win that point. In singles, every match was a real battle. I'm proud of this group for keeping it together and playing with so much heart in spite of all the challenges we had to face all year."
The Cats have played their last match of the season.
