Tucson, Ariz. – Jada Talley was named Pac-12 Offensive player of the week on Tuesday for her stellar performance against Oregon and Oregon State this past week. This is Talley's first Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor and she is the first Wildcat to receive a Pac-12 Player of the Week honor this season.
Talley scored four goals this weekend, giving her three two-goal games on the season and nine total goals on the season, the sixth-most in the league. All three two-goal games have come against Pac-12 teams, one of which was No. 10 UCLA. Talley aided the Cats in their victory over Oregon by scoring the tie breaker and a comfort goal. She then single-handedly clinched the 2-1 triumph over Oregon State, scoring both Arizona goals.
She now leads the Wildcats with nine goals, seven assists, three game-winning goals, and 25 points.
Next up Talley and the Wildcats will go head to head with California on Oct. 31 at 1:00 p.m. MST
