OFF THE TOP
#14 Arizona improved to 6-2 all-time in the Wooden Legacy/Wooden Classic with Thursday's win over Pepperdine.

Nico Mannion (16p, 11a) and Zeke Nnaji (16p, 11r) both registered double-doubles against Pepperdine, the first time a pair of UA teammates posted double-doubles in the same game since Feb. 15, 2018 (Ayton & Ristic).
Arizona's 53.4 percent FG% ranks second nationally. Their 43.2 3FG% seventh in the country.

With 22 assists against Pepperdine, it marks the fourth time this season with 20+ assists. The last time UA had four or more games with 20+ assists in a season was 2016-17 (4 times).

Arizona has forced opponents into 137 turnovers (T11th nationally), which is the most ever by a Sean Miller coached team through the first seven games of a season. UA also has a +6.7 advantage in turnover margin, the 15th-best in NCAA.

Mannion went coast-to-coast and made a driving layup with two seconds left to give Arizona a 93-91 win over Pepperdine in the opening round of the Wooden Legacy. In the game, he recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 assists.

The 11 assists for Mannion are the most by a UA player since Parker Jackson-Cartwright had 11 on Nov. 21, 2016. It's the fifth-most by an Arizona freshman and the last freshman to have 11 or more assists was Mustafa Shakur in 2004.

A two-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, Nnaji is shooting 80.0 percent from the floor this year (1st nationally) after his 6-of-8 effort against Pepperdine. He also grabbed 11 rebounds to register his second double-double of the year.

Redshirt sophomore guard Jemarl Baker Jr. ranks second the country in assist-to-turnover ratio (7.67:1). He is also shooting 54.5 percent (12-22) from the 3-point line.

Josh Green scored a career-high 24 points on Thursday against Pepperdine, matching a season-best with four made 3-point field goals - He also had a career-high eight rebounds and his third straight game with three steals. His 13 steals are a team-high this season.

Dylan Smith matched his UA career-high in points (16) and 3FG made (4) vs. Pepperdine.
