Men's Golf Adds Dylan Kornberg as Assistant Coach

TUCSON, Ariz.- Arizona Men's Golf is excited to announce the hiring of Dylan Kornberg as a volunteer assistant coach for the remainder of the 2019 season.

"We are very happy and lucky to have Dylan rejoin our team as a coach," comments head coach Jim Anderson. "He possesses great passion for the program as well as the profession.  His intellect and work ethic has made positive impact our team immediately.  He offers great perspective to our guys and he is very capable and reliable to share important responsibilities with the coaching staff."

Born and raised in Tucson, Ariz., Dylan Kornberg graduated from Catalina Foothills High School in 2011, where he played on the golf team and helped lead the Falcons to their first State Championship in school history. After high school, Dylan earned a spot on the University of Arizona Men's Golf Team, where he became a four-year letterwinner and graduated from the Eller College of Management in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. Since graduating, Dylan has played professionally, worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Skyline Country Club, mapped golf courses for the PGA TOUR, caddied on the PGA TOUR Canada and PGA TOUR Latino America, and worked as the Director of Marketing for AMPD Golf Performance.

"I am very thankful and excited for the opportunity to rejoin the Arizona Men's Golf Program," says Kornberg. "Having played for Coach Anderson for three of my four years at Arizona, I am already familiar with the system in place and feel as though I will be able to make a seamless transition into my new role on the coaching staff. The University of Arizona has always felt like my second home, so it means the world to me to be able to start my college coaching journey here, surrounded by friends and mentors."
