TUCSON, Ariz. - The NCAA announced the men's golf regional fields on Wednesday, and head coach
Jim Anderson and the Arizona Wildcats will host the Marana Regional at The Gallery Golf Club from May 18-20. Arizona is the No. 3 seed at the regional and is ranked No. 18 overall in the country.
It is the 8th consecutive season that Arizona has been selected for the NCAA postseason under coach Anderson.
The top five teams at the regional along with the top individual from non-advancing teams will move on to the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California from May 29-June 3.
The Wildcats are ranked No. 18 in the latest Scoreboard rankings that were released earlier today. During the 2025-26 season, Arizona as a team has finished in the Top 5 in six tournaments, including a wins at the Arizona Thunderbirds Collegiate in March and the Copper Cup in January. Most recently, Arizona finished second at the Big 12 Championship behind Oklahoma State.
Arizona has been led by the experienced seniors Filip Jakubcik and Zach Pollo. Jakubcik is ranked No. 33 in the country. Taishi Moto has had a breakout sophomore season finishing inside the top 3 in two of his last three starts. Freshman William Wistrand has also been a major contributor playing in all events this season and collecting four top ten finishes.
Last year, the Wildcats advanced to the Amherst Regional but finished sixth and missed the cut to advance to the NCAA Championship by one shot.
