LAS VEGAS – No. 6 Oregon (28-3) was too much in the end as they knocked off the Arizona Wildcats (18-13) by a score of 77-63 in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals on Friday.

Aari McDonald finished the game with 34 points, five assists and three steals. She now has eight 30-point games this season, the most in school history and the most of any Pac-12 player since 2000. Her 34 points was also the most of any Arizona player in conference tournament history.

Cate Reese finished in double-figures once again as she scored 12 points and brought down five rebounds.

Oregon outshot Arizona 53% to 44% and outrebounded the Wildcats 37-20. Ruthy Hebard led the Ducks with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Arizona forced six Oregon turnovers in the first quarter, but the Ducks shot 60% and took a 19-14 lead into the second quarter. McDonald led all scorers with 10 points after one.

Oregon pushed their lead to 40-28 after finishing the second quarter on an 11-4 run. Although Arizona forced Oregon into eight first-half turnovers, the Ducks stayed consistent and once again shot 60% from the field in the second quarter. McDonald had 18 of Arizona's 28 first-half points.

The Wildcats cut the lead to eight at the end of the third after outscoring the Ducks 25-20, but Oregon would close things out in the fourth and move on to the semifinals.
