Honolulu, Hawai'i- The only thing that could stop the Wildcats this weekend was the weather. The Saguaro Soldiers traveled to Hawai'i for their first regular season match and were rained out for two straight days. On Monday, January 13, the Wildcats were finally able to grab their first two wins of the season in a double header with the University of Hawai'i, going 4-1 and 6-1.

The first match had a win in doubles with victories from the pair of No. 61 Jonas Ziverts and No. 36 Filip Malbasic, as well as Nick Lagaev and No. 86 Alejandro Reguant. Malbasic, Reguant, and Lagaev all grabbed singles victories to secure the win.

In the second match, Arizona lost the doubles point, but came back strong with six singles wins. Lead by Reguant at the number one spot, Arizona dominated the second match of singles with wins by Conner Olsen, Igor Karpovets, Ziverts, and Lagaev.
