Cats Wrap Up Split Weekend With 21 PRs

LUBBOCK, Texas. – Arizona Track and Field closed out competition at both the Texas Tech Shootout and Washington Husky Invitational on Saturday. The Wildcats combined for a total of 21 PRs and three top-15 NCAA marks.

"We are peaking at the right time," said head Track and Field coach Fred Harvey. "People are performing at a high level mentally and physically and going into our conference championship, that's what it's going to take to be one of the top teams in the conference. We got 21 personal bests and these PRs are very substantial because you are talking about people moving up higher on the NCAA list. These were really meaningful PRs. I'm excited about the attitudes and performance level from everybody. We just have to get mentally ready for the conference championship."
