Five Wildcats to Compete at NAU Tune Up

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track and Field is sending five Wildcats to Flagstaff, Ariz. to compete at NAU Tune Up on Friday. This is Arizona's last meet before the MPSF Championships on February 28 and 29.

Competition is tentatively set to begin at 3:00 p.m. MST beginning with the men's long jump and women's shot put followed by the men's and women's weight throw and men's 60m hurdles.

Among those competing for the Wildcats will be Pjai Austin in the long jump. Austin currently holds the 14th best long jump mark in the NCAA at 7.71m (25-3.5). Israel Oloyede will also be making the trip to compete in the weight throw. Oloyede's mark of 21.62m (70-11.25) at the Texas Tech Shootout places him at 11th in the country.

Arizona last competed at both the Texas Tech Shootout and Washington Husky Classic where the Wildcats combined for a total of 21 PRs and three top-15 NCAA marks.
