FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Day 1 of the Pac-12 Women's Swimming and Men's and Women's Diving Championships wrapped up on Wednesday in Federal Way, Wash.
Just two swimming events occurred on Wednesday, with the Wildcats (
Kirsten Jacobsen,
Hannah Cox,
Ayumi Macias and
Casslyn Treydte) finishing fourth in the Pac-12 in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay (7:03.46). Later, the Cats (
Aria Bernal,
Mallory Korenwinder,
Hannah Farrow and
Kayla Filipek) finished sixth in the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:36.29).
In the first event of the Pac-12 Men's Diving Championships,
Bjorn Markentin finished third in the 1-meter.
