FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Day 2 of the Pac-12 Men's Swimming Championships wrapped up on Thursday in Federal Way, Wash.
Arizona had a total of seven Cats swim in the A finals Friday evening.
Etay Gurevich and
Thomas Anderson lead the way for the Cats as they both placed fourth in their respected events. Gurevich in the 400 IM with a time of 3:43.19, and Anderson in the 100 back with a time of 46.28.
Gurevich punched his ticket to NCAA's with his time in the 400 IM.
In the 200 free,
Daniel Namir and
Jorge Iga placed fifth and sixth. Namir with a lifetime best of 1:33.96 and Iga with a 1:34.12 finish.
Sam IIda logged the sixth fastest time of the night in the 400 IM with a 3:44.49.
After three days of the Pac-12 Championships, Arizona sits third in the standings with a point total of 387.
