Arizona Athletics Moves to Mobile Ticket Delivery - University of Arizona Athletics

TUCSON, Ariz. -- In its efforts to provide a safe gameday environment, Arizona Athletics has moved to a mobile-only model for ticket delivery for all athletics events. This decision to discontinue printed tickets aligns with other venues on campus and will enable the athletics department to provide contactless entry to Arizona Stadium, McKale Center and other Arizona Athletics venues. Mobile ticketing offers the following benefits to fans:

There's an app for that - Tickets can be stored and easily accessed on the Arizona Athletics app.
Easier ticket transfer – Mobile tickets provide a more secure way to transfer electronically through the ticket buyer's account and eliminate any need for physical contact.
Additional security - Eliminates chance of losing tickets, counterfeits, or the chance of tickets being damaged or stolen in the mail.
Go green - Aligns with sustainability efforts of Arizona Athletics' "Wildcat Way" strategic plan.

"Arizona Athletics has been one of the nation's leaders in providing mobile ticket options to our fans," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Dave Heeke. "We are growing this vital part of our customer service operations by moving to mobile as our primary ticket delivery method. This increased focus on mobile ticketing allows for a more enhanced and efficient fan experience that prioritizes efficiency, security and sustainability."

Arizona Athletics initially launched a mobile ticketing option in 2014 and look forward to providing this service to many more fans. Download the Arizona Athletics app here and see why mobile ticketing is the safest, securest, and most convenient ticketing method for attending a Wildcats game. Fans should contact their development officer, account representative, or the McKale Ticket office (catsinfo@arizona.edu) if they have any questions.

Following the Pac-12's decision to move to a conference-only schedule for Fall sports, the athletics department is awaiting to finalize additional plans on ticketing and updated schedule information.
