TUCSON, Ariz. -- The No. 15 Arizona Wildcats (4-0) went undefeated in day one of the Cactus Classic. In their first home tournament in over one year the Cats come to win, sweeping both SFA and Corpus Christi. Match play will continue tomorrow with the Cats taking on Boise State at 11 a.m. MST. 

Against SFA the Cats completed their second sweep of the season. Four pairs clinched Arizona points in just two sets, with only one needing to advance to a third. Pairs Brooke Burling/Alana Rennie, Dana Parker/Mady Noble and Olivia Hallaran/Carly Lowry made quick work against the Jacks going, not allowing their opponent more than 15 points. 

Against Corpus Christi the Cats fought hard to earn the win. Three courts were able to finsih it in two but two courts required a third set to complete the Arizona sweep. Still, the Cats came out victorious with their third sweep of the season, and second of the day. Olivia Hallaran/Mady Noble and Natalie Anselmo/Carly Lowry finished two sets fast to put Arizona on the board. Hope Shannon and Abby Russel finished up the match in a nail biting three set match ending in Arizona's victory. 

Pairs Sarah Blacker/Alex Parkhurst and Brooke Burling/Alana Rennie went 2-0.
