Arizona Finishes 4-0 on the Weekend With Huge Win over No. 15 Hawaii

SEATTLE, Wash. -- The Wildcats (20-4) finished 4-0 on the weekend after participating in the University of Washington Invitational. Against both Washington and Hawaii the Cats went 4-1 with Arizona earning their first program win over Hawaii. These Wildcats are currently on track to reach second place for most wins in one season. They need one more win to reach second and five more to top their all-time record of 25 wins, set in 2019. They are sitting at 7-2 against Pac-12 teams with the only two losses coming from Stanford and UCLA.

Arizona saw four quick, two-set match ups against Washington. Mady Noble and Dana Parker made quick work of the Huskies going 21-12, 21-6 with Brooke Burling and Sarah Blacker finishing not far behind with a 23-21, 21-15 end. Hope Shannon and Olivia Hallaran were the deciding vote for the Cats on court No. 5.

The Cats came to win against the Warriors, pulling their first victory in program history. Noble and Parker earned the first Arizona point for the second time of the day. Hawaii came away with their first point shortly after, making it a tie match at 1-1. Arizona did not let this last long as Natalie Anselmo & Carly Lowry and Alex Parkhurst & Alana Rennie came back to win the duel for the Cats.
