Mady Noble have been recognized for their accomplishments during the 2021 season. To be recognized as an AVCA Top Flight, pairs must compete together and at a specific flight (1-5) in at least 15 matches and post a 75% winning percentage.Â
Going 18-6 this season,
Carly Lowry and
Natalie Anselmo had a winning percentage of 75% (Flight 3). All six losses have come against ranked Pac-12 opponents with the exception of one. Additionally, they have seen victory over six ranked opponents including No. 8 Pepperdine and No. 15 Hawaii for the first time in program history. The pair saw one victory in the Pac-12 Championships against Cal and will come in at eighth in program history for win percentage. This is Anselmo's second flight three AVCA award and Lowry's first.
Mady Noble and
Dana Parker finished the 2021 season with an overall record of 18-3 (Flight 4). They ended with the highest winning percentage of the season and the third-highest winning percentage in program history. They finished more matches in two sets than any other pair, with 15 of their 18 wins being secured in two sets. They pulled out program first wins against No. 8 Pepperdine and No. 15 Hawaii and saw victories over eight of their 12 ranked opponents. Additionally they went 2-0 with one unfinished set in the Pac-12 Championships against Arizona State and Cal. This is Parker's second AVCA Top Flight award and Noble's first.Â
