Arizona Completes Four-Game Weekend Sweep

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (7-1) polished off a four-game sweep of the Milwaukee Panthers (3-4) with a come-from-behind 8-6 victory on Sunday morning.

Milwaukee took an early lead with a run in the first inning and a five-spot in the second, pulling out in front of Arizona 6-4. But the Wildcats bullpen shut down the Panthers over the remainder, limiting the visitors to just one hit while striking out five across the final 5.2 innings.

The Wildcats put together their game-winning rally in the fourth inning. First baseman Noah Turley led off the frame with a solo home run, shortstop Nik McClaughry pushed across a run on a ground out, and catcher Daniel Susac and outfielder Tanner O'Tremba notched RBI base knocks. It was Susac's RBI double, one of three two-baggers the All-American collected in the game, that provided the go-ahead run.

Right-hander Josh Randall (1-0), who spelled starting pitcher Dawson Netz, earned the win after working 1.2 scoreless, hitless innings.
