BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Two throwers represented the Wildcats in the final meet of the indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Championships, with Jordan Geist and Samantha Noennig notching stellar season-best performances in the shot put.

Highlights
Jordan Geist kicked things off for the throwers with five straight throws over 20m. He threw for his best mark of this indoor season on the fifth attempt with a throw of 21.27m (69'-9.5") to put himself on the podium in third place. 

Samantha Noennig also threw a season-best 17.47m (57'-3.75") in the shot put to finish in fourth place. The senior threw three shots past the 17m mark throughout the compeition in her final indoor campaign.

With the conclusion of the indoor season, the Wildcats will gear up for the outdoor season beginning with the Willie Williams Classic at Roy P. Drachman Stadium next weekend, Mar. 18-19.
