Wildcats Finish Homestand Against New Mexico

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (9-3) face one final test before beginning their slate of Pac-12 conference games, a midweek contest against the New Mexico Lobos (4-7) on Tuesday night at Hi Corbett Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. MST.
The No. 16 ranked Cats look to get back on track after dropping their final two games to Texas State over the weekend. Arizona will look for a continuation of their impressive starting pitching as they take on the Lobos; the Wildcats starters have combined to post a 2.40 ERA in 12 games this year.

- The Arizona Wildcats polish off their 10-game homestand with a midweek matchup against the New Mexico Lobos on Tuesday night. It will be Arizona's final game before Pac-12 play begins.

- Arizona's pitching staff has lowered their walk rate in each of the last three seasons. From 2019's mark of 5.33 BB/9 they have improved to 4.67 in 2020, 3.90 in 2021, and 3.30 through 12 games this season.
- Catcher Daniel Susac leads all Division I players with nine doubles this season. He and outfielder Tanner O'Tremba have combined for 16 doubles, more than 95 different DI programs.
