OMAHA, Neb. — A solo home run from
Tony Bullard broke a scoreless tie in the seventh and the Arizona Wildcats (25-12) ran away with a 6-0 shutout win over the Creighton Bluejays (21-9) on Monday night at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
Arizona's pitching was dominant from start to finish in a planned bullpen game. Six Wildcat pitchers combined to allow just seven singles while striking out 12 Bluejays to record the staff's first shutout of the season.Â

Anthony Susac improved to 2-1 on the year after three strong innings of work. The freshman held Creighton to just two hits while striking out five.
Following Bullard's solo shot in the seventh the Wildcats scored three in the eighth and two in the ninth to pull away from the Bluejays. Outfielder

Daniel Susac both drove in runs with base knocks during the home stretch.
Arizona's shutout effort handed Creighton their first home loss of the season.
