Arizona travels to Nacogdoches, Texas to compete in the SFA Invitational to take on Central Arkansas and Stephen F. Austin. The Sand Cats have an all-time winning record over both opponents this upcoming weekend: 1-0 vs Central Arkansas and 3-0 vs SFA. 


* The 2023 season marks the 10th for Arizona head coach Steve Walker at the helm of the Wildcats program. He's the only head coach the program has had since it was started in 2014 and has an overall record of 169-73.

* In the AVCA Preseason Top 20 poll, Arizona checked in at No. 18. After starting 10-3 on the season, SandCats currently sit at No. 19.

*The last time Arizona took on Central Arkansas was in the 2018 season when the Wildcats defeated the Bears 4-1 in the LSU Tournament. The last time the Wildcats defeated Stephen F. Austin was in the 2021 season when the Wildcats defeated the Lumberjacks 5-0 in Tucson. 

*Last weekend, the Wildcats hosted the Arizona Invitational where they took down Southern Miss, Arizona Christian and Cal Poly. 

* Arizona's match point win percentage this season is at an astounding 70.8%, winning 46 points and only dropping 19 so far.

* The Wildcats are 11-2 this season at the No. 3 pair position, with Alana Rennie and Grace Cook doing a majority of the damage at 11-1.

* Caroline White and Kylee Fitzsimmons are 8-3 on the year at No. 4 pair and Annie Kost and Miranda Erro are also 8-3 at No. 5 pair.

The SandCats look to add to their win total this weekend before they head up north to face in-state rival Arizona State next week on Wednesday and then host the Wildcat Spring Challenge on Friday and Saturday as part of the Alumni Reunion Weekend.
