TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (15-13, 4-10) used 10 extra-base hits to top the Washington Huskies (19-9, 6-5) on a final score of 12-4 on Friday night at Hi Corbett Field.
The Cats offense produced a dozen runs on 13 hits, 10 of which went for extra bases, and five walks. They were led by three-hit performances from second baseman
Mason White and third baseman
Tony Bullard, who combined for six runs scored, five doubles, one home run, and four RBI.
Starting pitcher
Bradon Zastrow (3-1) earned the win after working five innings and holding the Huskies to four runs on six hits. The southpaw struck out four and issued just one walk on 77 pitches.
Right-hander
TJ Nichols finished the game for Arizona and held Washington scoreless on just two hits while striking out a pair. His four-inning effort earned him the first save of his collegiate career.
