FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Arizona Women's Swimming is headed to Federal Way alongside Men's and Women's Diving to commence week one of the 2024 Pac-12 Championships beginning Wednesday, Feb. 28 and running through Saturday, March 2.
The Wildcats will return to Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center once again to face off against their conference opponents: ASU, Utah, WSU, USC, Cal, UCLA, and Stanford.
Arizona is fresh out of their regular season, approaching the championships with three Pac-12 Weekly diving awards from Brooke Earley and Gage DuBois, and one Pac-12 Swimmer of the Month from Julia Heimstead.
With five days of opportunities, the Cat's sights are set finalist spots and NCAA qualifying times to potentially secure themselves a spot in the national championships next month.
At last season's conference championship, former Wildcat Delaney Schnell represented diving with two first place titles in the Women's 1-meter and 3-meter events and 2nd place in the platform dive. Senior Julia Heimstead represented the swimming side, securing Arizona's only podium finish with third place in the 100 Fly. The Wildcat women finished in sixth place overall.
