ATLANTA, Georgia – The Cats had a strong showing on day three of the Women's NCAA Championships. The 400 medley relay squad earned a top 16 finish to add to the list.
The 400 medley relay team touched the wall at 3:31.08, placing 16th overall.
Lila Lillie started the relay strong with a 52.62 100 back split, followed by
Eleni Gewalt's 58.52 100 breaststroke leg.
Maryam Sheikhalizadehkhanghah posted a 52.54 100 butterfly split, and
Julia Wozniak finished the relay with a 47.40 100 free.
The finish marks the second top-16 performance for the women's team at this year's NCAA Championships.
The Wildcats will return for the final day of competition tomorrow, featuring several individual events taking place and the 400 free relay.
Riley Botton will swim in the 100 free for her second NCAA individual event, while
Kayman Neal will take on the 200 free.
Zara Ayazi will also take on the platform event.
