TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (7-10, 2-3) dropped game two to the Arizona State Sun Devils (9-9, 3-2) on a final score of 4-0 on Saturday night at Hi Corbett Field.
A crowd of 5,410 Wildcat fans came through the gates on Saturday, marking the 12th largest crowd at Hi Corbett Field since Arizona moved to the ballpark full time in 2012.
Starting pitcher
Clark Candiotti (1-1) continued his strong start to the season, working 5.0 innings and allowing just one earned run while striking out eight. The senior right-hander was saddled with the loss.
