Before Arizona
Spent time at Wichita State (2023), Grayson County Community College (2022), Vernon College (2021), and Saint Mary’s (2020) prior to arriving in Tucson…Earned First Team All-American Athletic Conference honors as a junior at Wichita State in 2023 after going 7-4 with a 4.87 ERA and 82 strikeouts across 14 starts…Also earned AD Honor Roll distinction in Spring 2023 with a 4.0 GPA and a spot on the AAC All-Academic team…Posted a 7-1 record and a 4.57 ERA with 68 strikeouts across 11 starts with Grayson in 2022…Picked up six starts and went 1-3 with a 4.54 ERA and 43 strikeouts during the 2021 season at Vernon…Began collegiate career at Saint Mary’s in 2020, making three relief appearances alongside his brother, Casey…Prepped at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, lettering three years in baseball under head coach Sam Messina…Picked up Second Team All-Region honors as a junior…Posted a 9-2 record with 82 strikeouts in 70 innings across his junior and senior seasons…Also spent time as the school’s mascot, Firebird, as a freshman.
