ALBQUERQUE, N.M. – Arizona Track & Field completed the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational on Saturday. The two-day competition was hosted by New Mexico at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
The Wildcats shined in field events on day one of the competition, posting three podium finishes.
Emma Gates finished runner-up in the women's high jump and teammate
Paris Mikinski finished third in the event.
Jenica Bosko also finished third in the long jump. On day two of the competition, the Wildcats earned their first running event podium finish of the meet with
Taylen Wise finishing third in the women's 60m hurdles. The two-day competition saw the Wildcats have numerous personal bests, season bests, and indoor debuts.

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
Ena McMahon finished sixth overall in the women's pole vault with a personal best clearance of 12-6.25 (3.82m).
Olivia Dillon placed seventh and
Kelly de Jong finished ninth in the event as well.
In the men's pole vault, freshman
Sylvan Osman cleared a personal best height of 16-7.5 (5.07m) to place 10th.
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
In the prelims of the women's 60m hurdles,
Taylen Wise clocked a time of 8.38 to place third and advance to the event's finals. In the event's finals, Wise lowered her time to 8.30, which is a personal best, and finished third overall. Additionally,
Brooke Nordman finished 10th with a personal best time of 8.69.
Ena McMahon and
Cecelia Woods also both ran personal best times in the event.
Three Wildcats posted personal best times in the women's 400m.
Antonia Sanchez Nunez (54.17) finished fifth overall and
Brooke Nordman (55.54) placed seventh.
Cecelia Woods was the third Wildcat to run a personal best in the event.
In the men's 60m hurdles, freshman
Bogdan Vidojkovic finished sixth in the prelims of the event with a personal best time of 8.06 to advance to the finals. In the event's finals, Vidojkovic clocked another personal best time of 8.02 and finished sixth overall.
Charli Koseoglu finished third in the B section of the women's 60m.
UP NEXT
The Wildcats return to Lubbock, Texas, for the Stan Scott Invite and Multis hosted by Texas Tech on January 31 and February 1.
