Wildcats Play Well on Final Day of Southwestern Invitational

Arizona had their best round of the tournament in the final round on Wednesday. As a team, they shot 4-over par with three players carding an even-par 71.

Tianyi Xiong shot even par in a consistent round with two birdies and two bogeys. Johnny Walker and Zach Pollo were the two other players to finish with a 71. Walker had four birdies on the day and Pollo had three birdies.

Griffin Rhoads ended his round at 4-over par and Filip Jakubcik shot a 77.

Overall, the Wildcats didn't play how they hoped to at Sherwood Country Club. But, they capped it off on the positive side shooting their best rounds of the tournament.

The Wildcats will be back in action on February 3rd and 4th for the N.I.T. at home in Tucson.
