The Arizona Men's Golf team will make it's 31
st appearance in the NCAA Championship this week at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. The 30 teams that qualified for the tournament will all the first three rounds Friday through Sunday.

REGIONAL CHAMPS
Arizona posted a commanding win at the Marana Regional to advance to the NCAA Championship for the 31st time in program history.
Â
It marked the eighth time in program history that the Wildcats won a regional title and the first time since 2022.
Â
Arizona men's golf won it's only national championship in 1992 at the University of New Mexico Golf Course.
Â
RECORD-SETTING REGIONAL
The Wildcats finished at 49-under par over the three rounds, one stroke shy of tying the school record for lowest tournament score to par.

In the second round of the regional, Arizona was 24-under par to set a program record for any round. The previous record was 21-under par.

Senior
Zach Pollo carded a 9-under 63 in the second round of the regional, a career-best and one stroke shy of the lowest score in Arizona history.

IN THE RANKINGS
The Wildcats are ranked No. 12 in the most receng Scoreboard rankings distributed after the regionals. It is the highest ranking of the season for Arizona.

At the start of the 2025-26 season, Arizona was No. 24 and then fell to No. 30 at the end of the fall schedule before the strong spring saw the team shoot up the rankings.

SPRING SURGE
Arizona has three wins and two runner-up finishes in eight spring tournaments this year, including a second place showing at the Big 12 Championship prior to the win at regionals. Nationally, Arizona ranks inside the Top 10 when only looking at spring results.

BIG 12 RUNNER-UP
At the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes in Kansas, the Wildcats finished second to Oklahoma State despite entering the tournament as the No. 4 seed.

PGA TOUR "U" RANKINGS
In the latest PGA Tour University rankings released May 20,
Filip Jakubcik checked in at No. 10 and
Zach Pollo was just behind him at No. 22.

Arizona is one of five schools in the country to have multiple players inside the Top 25 of the PGA TOUR U rankings.

The player ranked No. 1 after the end of stroke play on June 1 earns their PGA TOUR card.

Players ranked 2-10 receive Korn Ferry Tour membership for the rest of 2026 while players ranked No. 11-25 receive PGA TOUR Americas membership for the remainder of 2026.
