TUCSON, Ariz. — As Arizona soccer prepares to celebrate its 2025 senior class on Friday night at Mulcahy Stadium, the Wildcats will honor five players who have defined what it means to be Arizona P.R.O.U.D. — Passion, Respect, Outwork, Unity and Discipline.
The group —
Sami Baytosh,
Maia Brown,
Trinity Dorsey,
Ella Hatteberg and
Olivia Ramey — has shaped the standard of Arizona soccer under head coach
Becca Moros, combining consistency and leadership with a deep commitment to the values that define the program.
"This year's seniors are incredible leaders on and off the field," Moros said. "They do an outstanding job in the classroom and they lead every day in practice and in all the little moments that you often don't realize are what make true leaders. Three of them are seniors who are also named captain for the team, but all five are terrific leaders, leading by example, leading with their work, leading with the way they approach training and leading in the consistency of their play."
P – Passion | Sami Baytosh
Few players have worn the Block A with as much passion and consistency as senior midfielder
Sami Baytosh. Across her four-year career, Baytosh has appeared in 67 matches with 55 starts, totaling more than 4,000 minutes played while producing nine goals and nine assists.
A playmaker with a knack for creating chances, Baytosh has recorded at least one goal in every collegiate season and has been a catalyst in Arizona's attack again this fall, contributing two goals and a team-leading four assists.
"Sami is a very understated player in the sense that she's always popping up and present during all the big moments," Moros said. "It's her commitment to work hard and her really working mentality — she's in every moment of every game and trying to be as active and proactive and helpful on both sides of the ball. You can often miss how much she's doing, but she's collaborative and only one or two links away from everything we do successfully, whether that's defensively or in the attack. She's got an incredible engine and work rate, and she's been a tremendous competitor for us who just never stops working."
R – Respect | Ella Hatteberg
For four seasons, defender
Ella Hatteberg has been one of the most respected players in Arizona's back line — a model of consistency, composure and competitiveness. She's appeared in 67 career matches with 49 starts, logging more than 4,500 minutes while contributing two goals and four assists.
A dependable presence in the defensive unit, Hatteberg has started every match this season, adding a goal and assist in her senior campaign.
"My first meeting with Ella in person, she just came across as this really fun, loving, easy-to-be-around, easy-to-talk-to, positive and energetic person," Moros said. "Then watching her play — which was what originally attracted us to her as a potential member of the Wildcat family — you saw her ability to play in two or three positions and compete exactly the same way no matter what was asked of her. Her work rate and determination never stop running, still never stop running, haven't stopped running since I first watched her. She keeps working at everything she does with a positive and learning-focused mentality, both in the gym, in the classroom and on the field. That's just who she is, and she's been a joy to coach."
O – Outwork | Maia Brown
For
Maia Brown, from Carrollton, Texas, wearing the Block A has always been personal — and her path has been defined by relentless work ethic and quiet determination. In three seasons, Brown has appeared in 40 matches with 35 starts, logging nearly 2,900 minutes as one of Arizona's most dependable defenders.
After emerging as a full-time starter in 2024, she's maintained that standard again this season, helping anchor a defensive group that thrives on effort and communication.
"Maia comes across over the phone as this soft-spoken, sweet, considerate, respectful person — and she is all of those things," Moros said. "But when you get her on the field, she's a fierce defender, a strong tackler, extremely competitive and has this fire underneath the other characteristics she also has as a woman and caring person."
U – Unity | Olivia Ramey
Goalkeeper
Olivia Ramey has been the heartbeat of Arizona's back line and a unifying force within the Wildcats' locker room. In just two seasons in Tucson, she's appeared in 30 matches and logged more than 2,500 minutes, earning 17 wins and posting nine shutouts while maintaining a .746 save percentage.
"Olivia was a very fortunate addition to our team halfway through her career," Moros said. "When she transferred here, we had some injuries and needed more depth in the goalkeeping position, and she did a tremendous job coming into a new environment with new teammates. She connected with people immediately, invested in those relationships, was positive in her communication and also demanding of standards and respect from her teammates very quickly. Her goalkeeping ability has been critical for us on a number of occasions — in game-winning moments, in keeping us in games and in helping players around her play their best. We've been really fortunate to have a wonderful two years coaching Olivia."
D – Discipline | Trinity Dorsey
Across four seasons in Tucson,
Trinity Dorsey has defined what it means to be disciplined — showing up, improving and producing year after year. The senior defender has appeared in 48 career matches with 31 starts, totaling more than 2,300 minutes on the pitch.
"This senior class is special to me — my first recruiting class," Moros said. "I remember meeting and watching each of them for the first time. I had been coaching Trinity's sister, Ramey Dorsey, at a tremendous program, and when I took this job, she said, 'You should go watch my sister.' I did, and I was really impressed with her composure, leadership ability, communication, passing ability and overall soccer IQ."
Senior Reflection
"Being a part of this group of seniors is something special, as over the past four years each senior has built a legacy based on passion, perseverance and unforgettable memories," senior defender
Maia Brown said. "My time has irreversibly shaped me into someone stronger, wiser and prepared for all future opportunities and challenges. Arizona will always be home, a place where I found lasting friendships and experienced invaluable growth."
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a pre-match ceremony honoring Arizona's senior class before the Wildcats take the pitch for their final home appearance of the season.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MST on Friday at Mulcahy Stadium. Tickets and gameday information are available at ArizonaWildcats.com/Soccer.
