ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Arizona Track & Field completed day two of the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on Saturday.
The Wildcats went up against some of the top teams and athletes in the nation at the two-day competition.
Keilee Hall posted the team's only individual event win of the meet, winning the women's 600m on Friday. Saturday was highlighted by
Tyler Michelini and
Zach Landa finishing second and third overall in the men's shot put. Additionally, the team posted numerous personal and season best performances over the past two days.
This competition marked the first team scoring event of the season for the Wildcats. Overall, the Arizona Men placed fourth with a score of 48 and the Arizona Women placed 11th with a score of 22.

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
The Wildcats had two podium finishers in the men's shot put:
Tyler Michelini and
Zach Landa. Michelini finished runner-up with a big personal best throw of 63-7.75 (19.40m) and Landa placed third overall with a mark of 62-2.5 (18.96m).
Youssef Koudssi also placed seventh in the event with a throw of 59-11.75 (18.28m).
Tapenisa Havea finished fourth overall in the women's shot put, posting a big personal best throw of 55-11 (17.04m). Havea has had a personal best throw in the event in three competitions this season.
Lauryn Love also placed 11th in the event.
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
In the prelims of the men's 60m hurdles,
Zach Extine ran a time of 7.74 to place fifth overall and advanced to the event's semi-finals.
Bogdan Vidojkovic also qualified with a time of 8.04. In the event's semi-finals, Extine clocked a time of 7.70 to finish third overall and advance to the event's finals. Vidojkovic also clocked a personal best time of 8.01 in the event's semi-finals. In the finals, Extine posted a time of 7.73 and finished fourth overall.
Three Wildcats finished in the top 24 of the prelims of the men's 60m invitational to advance to the event's semi-finals.
Tyson Tippett (6.91) finished second in his heat to automatically qualify and
Brian Limage and
Trayvion White-Austin both ran times of 6.89 to qualify. In the event's semi-finals, Limage ran a personal best time of 6.75 to finish sixth and advanced to the event's finals. White-Austin just narrowly missed out on advancing as well, finishing ninth with a time of 6.75 due to a tiebreaker. In the event's finals, Limage matched his personal best time of 6.75 to finish fifth overall.
Taylen Wise clocked a personal best time of 8.25 in the prelims of the women's 60m hurdles to finish seventh overall and advance to the event's semi-finals. In the semi-finals, Wise clocked a time of 8.68.
Ena McMahon and
Cecelia Woods both ran personal best times in the event as well.
Antonia Sanchez Nunez (53.80) ran a personal best time in the women's 400m, and
Ava Simms (53.84) clocked an indoor personal best time in the event. Sanchez Nunez placed 12th and Simms finished 14th as the pair both went sub-54 seconds for the first time this season.
Cecelia Woods also ran a personal best time in the event.
In the prelims of the women's 60m invitational,
McKenna Watson clocked a time of 7.47.
Charli Koseoglu,
Dakota Minor, and
Presley Money all ran personal best times in the event as well.
Isaac Davis ran a season best time of 47.37 in the men's 400m.
Arizona men's team of
Isaac Davis,
Christian Simmons,
Yan Vazquez, and
Brian Limage finished sixth overall in the 4x400m relay. The team clocked a season best time of 3:10.81. The women's team of
Ava Simms,
Keilee Hall,
Brooke Nordman, and
Antonia Sanchez Nunez also placed sixth overall in the 4x400m relay, running a season best time of 3:35.70.

UP NEXT
The Wildcats will compete at a pair of meets next weekend: the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. Both competitions are scheduled for February 14-15.
