TUCSON, Ariz.— The Arizona Beach Volleyball team is back in action this weekend for four matches at Long Beach State. The Wildcats are 5-5 on the season and are coming off a 3-2 win over Coastal Carolina last weekend in Tempe.

Series History vs. This Week's Opponents
CSU Bakersfield - Arizona is 6-1 all-time against CSUB, and have won the last six meetings, including a 4-1 win during the 2024 season.
Long Beach State - This will be the first meeting between the two programs since 2022, when Arizona picked up its first win in the all-time series. LBSU leads the series, 4-1.
San Francisco - Arizona holds a 3-0 lead in the all-time series with the Dons, winning each of the meetings by a 5-0 margin.
Tarleton State - This will be the first-ever meeting in beach volleyball between the two schools.
Noting the Wildcats
- Madeline Walker and Ashlyn Zilliken are 7-3 on the year, playing all their matches at the No. 3 spot in the lineup. They have the most wins and the highest winning percentage for the Wildcats this season. The pair has won their last three matches entering this weekend.
- Walker and Zilliken have also secured the clinching point in the duel five times this season
- Adriana Nieves Papaleo and Kate Phillips are 6-4 this season, going 2-2 at the No. 1 spot in the lineup and 4-2 in the No. 2 position.
