"The Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational is phase two for our team during championship season," said the Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Fred Harvey. "The Jim Click Shootout was our first step towards team championship level competition, and now with these two competitions, every event area will be challenged by some of the best athletes in the world. We have to know the feeling of pressure, learn how to deal with it, and succeed. This weekend will prepare us for the pressure of being in the top five or winning the Big 12 Championships."

Arizona Track & Field was last in action for the Jim Click Shootout and Multis at Drachman Stadium. The Wildcats swept the team competitions for both the men and women at the event, winning by over 40 points on each side. The team totaled 11 wins over the two-day meet: Jade Brown (100m), Zach Extine (110m hurdles), Youssef Koudssi (discus), Brian Limage (100m & 200m), Ruth Pardy (3000m), Ian Sanchez Lopez (3000m), Antonia Sanchez Nunez (400m hurdles), Yan Vazquez (400m hurdles), McKenna Watson (200m), and the men's 4x100m relay team.

Brown clocked the fastest all-conditions time in program history in the women's 100m of 11.07 (+2.5). Extine's time of 13.49 in the men's 110m hurdles was just 0.02 seconds off the program record. Limage won three events on the last day of competition (100m, 200m, 4x100m) and clocked personal best times in both the 100m and 200m.
