TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Women's Basketball head coach Becky Burke announced the signing of Molly Ladwig, an all-state guard from Omaha, Nebraska, on Monday.
A dynamic 5-foot-9 combo guard, Ladwig starred at Skutt Catholic High School, where she averaged 19 points per game as a senior while leading the SkyHawks to a state championship. She finished her high school career as Skutt Catholic's all-time leader in points (1,748) and assists (332), also setting the single-game scoring record with 50 points against Omaha Central.
Ladwig was a four-time Class B All-State honoree and earned All-Nebraska Team recognition each of her final three seasons, culminating with a First Team and Captain honor in 2025. She helped guide Skutt Catholic to three straight State Tournament appearances, including a championship in 2025 and runner-up finishes in 2023 and 2024. Over her four-year varsity career, Ladwig's teams posted a remarkable 102-12 overall record, including 84-5 over her final three seasons.
Nationally, Ladwig is ranked the No. 3 player in Nebraska for the Class of 2025 by Prep Girls Hoops. She also captured a 15U Under Armour National Championship with her AAU team and earned First Team All-Tournament honors, in addition to participating in the invitation-only Under Armour Future 60 Camp in 2024.
Off the court, Ladwig excelled in the classroom with a 4.25 cumulative GPA and was recognized as an Academic All-State selection.
