TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 18 Arizona fell to No. 3 Oklahoma 21-3 in five innings on Saturday night at Hillenbrand Stadium.

The Wildcats recorded five hits and drew three walks but the Sooners scored 21 runs on 21 hits with seven home runs.

Oklahoma opened the game with five runs in the first inning on a pair of home runs and an RBI single. In the second inning, the Sooners plated one run on a single to take a 6-0 lead.

The Wildcats were able to keep the Sooners from scoring in the third inning but Oklahoma put up 10 runs in the fourth on three home runs, a single, and an RBI groundout to take a 16-0 lead.

In the fifth inning, Oklahoma hit two home runs and had two RBI singles to extend their lead to 21-0.

Arizona plated three in the bottom of the fifth but it wasn't enough.
Sydney Stewart hit a single down the left line to score the first run for the Cats.
Grace Jenkins drew a bases-loaded walk and
Tayler Biehl had a sacrifice fly.
In the circle,
Sarah Wright picked up the loss after pitching 2.0 innings and allowing 13 runs.
Jenae Berry went 2.1 innings and allowed four runs.
Jalen Adams entered to face two batters in the top of the fifth and gave up one hit.
