ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Arizona Track & Field completed day two of two at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on Saturday.
The Wildcats went up against some of the top teams and athletes in the nation at the two-day competition.
Emma Gates and
Sam Hala'Ufia posted the team's only individual event wins of the meet, winning the women's high jump on Friday and the men's shot put on Saturday.

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
Emma Gates won the women's high jump with a height of 6-1.25 (1.86m).
Paris Mikinski finished fourth in the event with a height of 5-10.75 (1.80m).
In the women's weight throw,
Tapenisa Havea finished second with a throw of 63-0 (19.20m).
Haedyn Bambolo finished ninth in the event with a throw of 52-4.75 (15.97m).
In the women's pole vault,
Ena McMahon finished third with a height of 12-7.5 (3.85m).
Olivia Clark finished fifth in the event with a height of 12-7.5 (3.85m).
Kelly De Jong finished eighth in the event with a height of 12-1.5 (3.70m).
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
In the men's 1-mile run,
Kai Espinosa Golinski finished third with a time of 4:14.69.
Cooper Quigley finished seventh in the event with a time of 4:16.10.
Mateo Pimienta finished ninth with a time of 4:21.55, and
Max Liao finished tenth with a time of 4:23.28.
In the women's 1-mile run, Arizona took places 4-7.
Kayla Lark finished fourth with a time of 5:02.59,
Kara Mickelson finished fifth with a time of 5:06.03,
Brooklyn Hanania finished sixth with a time of 5:07.83, and
Eleanor Korten Kamp finished seventh with a time of 5:07.92.
In the men's 200m invitational,
Mason Lawyer finished fifth with a time of 20.64.
James Onanubosi finished tenth in the event with a time of 21.00. In the men's 200m unseeded,
John Paredes finished sixth with a time of 21.02.

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
Sam Hala'Ufia won the men's shot put with a throw of 62-2.25 (18.95m).
Tyler Michelini finished second in the event with a throw of 60-7.75 (18.48m).
Michael Ogbeiwi finished fifth in the event with a throw of 54-1.75 (16.50m).
In the women's shot put,
Tapenisa Havea finished third with a throw of 53-2.75 (16.22m).
Haedyn Bambolo finished fourth in the event with a throw of 52-2.5 (15.91m).
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
In the men's 60m,
Mason Lawyer finished fifth in the prelims with a time of 6.64 and finished third in the finals with a time of 6.58.
In the men's 60m hurdles,
Parker Duskin finished third in the prelims with a time of 7.79 and finished fourth in the finals with a time of 7.74.
John Paredes finished seventh in the prelims with a time of 7.83 and finished eighth in the finals with a time of 8.08.
In the women's 60m hurdles,
Taylen Wise finished eleventh in the prelims with a time of 8.23 and finished seventh in the finals with a time of 8.23.
UP NEXT
The Wildcats will compete in two meets next week. Most of the team will be in Arkansas for the Tyson Invitational, and four Distance runners will travel to Seattle for the Husky Invite.
