TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Women's Basketball has signed guard Arynn Finley, head coach Becky Burke announced today. One of the top prospects in the nation, Finley joins the Wildcats from powerhouse Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Finley is ranked as the No. 48 recruit in the country by ESPNW and No. 55 overall by 247Sports, earning recognition as one of the premier guards in the 2026 class.
"Arynn is one of the best guards in the class of 2026," said Burke. "We are extremely excited about the athleticism and playmaking ability that she brings to both ends of the floor. Arynn is already a true three-level scorer, and I'm anxious to see her development here in Arizona. I expect Arynn to come in and compete in the Big 12 right away. We are lucky to have her."
A dynamic scorer and playmaker, Finley comes to Arizona after helping lead Etiwanda to national prominence during her high school career. As a junior, she guided the Eagles to a 28-5 overall record, including a perfect 7-0 mark in league play, while Etiwanda finished the season ranked No. 1 in the nation by The Sporting News. The Eagles also captured their third consecutive Open Division state championship.
During her sophomore season, Etiwanda finished 32-2 with a perfect 10-0 conference record and was ranked No. 1 in California. As a freshman, Finley helped the Eagles post a 32-3 record, another unbeaten 10-0 league mark, and a No. 3 state ranking.
Individually, Finley earned First Team All-CIF Southern Section honors and established herself as one of the most complete guards in the country. She will also reunite in Tucson with former Etiwanda teammate Aliyahna "Puff" Morris, adding another strong connection to an already talented Arizona roster.
"I chose Arizona because I feel it'll give me the opportunity to grow as a player and a person," said Finley. "It's a supportive environment that will prepare me for the game and life after the game. Lastly, to build something here with my new family!"
