TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona relief pitcher Garrett Hicks was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday.

He has been exceptional as of late, surrendering just one run and seven hits throughout his last eight appearances for Arizona (14.2 IP).
The Wildcats return to the field on Thursday night at 6 p.m. to commence a three-game series against BYU.
