Before Arizona
Played college ball at The College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif. before making his way to the Old Pueblo … Was named the 2014 Western State Conference Pitcher of the year during his freshman season at COC … He finished that year with a 7-3 record and a 2.36 ERA while striking out 89 in just 87.2 innings … In 2015, he finished with a record of 7-4 with an ERA of 2.40 and struck out 64 … He played his high school ball at West Ranch High School and was named the CIF Player of the Year in 2012.

He is the son of Tim and Rosanne Cloney … Has two older siblings, Chris and Steffany … Graduated in May with a degree in psychology...Is pursuing a Master's in Journalism.
