Arizona Baseball’s Summer Pitcher of the Year…Pitched for the Chico Heat of the Great West League…Went 4-0 with a 1.61 ERA in 44 2/3 innings, striking out 35 and walking just 15…Threw back-to-back complete games in his final two starts of the summer…Gave up one run and seven hits over nine innings against the Sacramento Stealth (8/4)…Gave up one earned run on six hits over nine against the Medford Rogues (8/13) in the GWL Playoffs…Tossed seven innings, giving up just one run against the Lodi Crushers (7/21).

Missed season recovering from arm surgery.

Arizona 2015
Pitched in a third of an inning against Eastern Michigan in a 16-3 win … Did not pitch in another game during the 2015 season due to injury.

Arizona 2014
Appeared in three games for the Wildcats, all out of the bullpen … Charged with three earned runs allowed on four hits with a strikeout over 1.1 innings of relief against Seton Hall (3/2) … Retired only batter faced on two pitches in midweek appearance against Utah Valley (2/18) … Tossed 2.0 innings with two runs – one earned – allowed on two hits to go with a strikeout against Kent State (2/15) in his first collegiate pitching appearance.

Earned varsity letters under coach Jared Snyder at Valencia High School in Valencia, Calif. … Named 2013 All-Foothill League Second Team … Posted a 6-4 record with a 2.14 earned run average as a senior … Registered 47 strikeouts in 65.1 innings while limiting opponents to a .213 batting average … Tossed third no-hitter in school history on April 26, 2013. Struck out six and faced one over the minimum in seven innings … Teammate of Jared Oliva … School honor roll senior year.
