2016 (XC): During the 2016 cross country campaign Vergara competed in five total meets for the Wildcats. Her season was highlighted by a second-place finish at the ASU Invitational. Vergara went on to place 76th overall at the Pac-12 Championships and 126th overall at the NCAA West Regional.

2016: Did not compete during the indoor season, Vergara competed in three separate events during the 2016 indoor campaign of her freshman year. Performing in the 3,000-meter race, Vergara set her personal best in 5th place with a mark of 10:36.40 at the ASU Duel in the Desert. Another one of her season-best times came when she ran the 5,000-meter at the ASU Invitational with a mark of 17:56.89 scoring 9th place. Vergara would go on to run the 10,000-meter race, pacing at 36:54.37 for 16th-place at the Pac-12 Championships.

2015 (XC): Placed seventh in a 3K race at the ASU Invitational at a time of 18:40.26 ... Finished eighth at the U of A Cross Country Twilight with a time of 19:02.

HIGH SCHOOL: Vergara lettered in cross country three times, twice in track & field four times at Bill Crothers Secondary School … Took first place at the Vina del Mar PATCO Triathlon Junior Pan American Cup and took second at the Youth Olympic Games Qualifier … Holds the 1500 Tike school record.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Jorge Vergara and Krystianna Sofroniou … The Toronto, Canada native has one brother, Michael-Antonio … Plans on studying Pre Education with a minor in Nutritional Science.
