2015: Nelson participated in all 22 matches this season … The Tucson native fired 11 shots, eight of which were on frame… She pumped in two goals and four assists over the course of the season … Both of her goals were game-winners as she gave Arizona a 1-0 lead against both Washington State and Northern Colorado.

Prep: She was a four-year letterwinner at Ironwood Ridge High School in Tucson, Ariz. … Was named the team’s most valuable player during her junior year and was named a team captain for her senior year … She earned Honorable Mention All-State accolades during her senior as well and was named to the Division II All Star team in Arizona … Played for the Tucson Soccer Academy for her club ball … Excelled in the classroom as she was an honor student as well.

Personal: She is the daughter of  Mark and Susie Nelson … She has one older brother, Colin … Nelson plans to major in physiology at Arizona.
