TUCSON, Ariz. - The No. 38 Arizona men's tennis team beat up BYU Saturday, Feb. 14, 7-0. Arizona won two of the three doubles matches and won all six singles matches in straight sets. Arizona improves to 6-1 and extends its winning streak to 5, and remains undefeated at home, while BYU falls to 1-7 on the season.

Arizona dropped its second doubles match of the year when junior Paul Warkentin and Daniel Andrus fell to Eric Nyman and Nima Roshan, 9-7. The duo of junior Colin O'Grady and sophomore Roger Matalonga remain undefeated by virtue of beating Tim Bradshaw and Dominik Kaufhold, 8-3. The senior team of Whi Kim and Tom Lloyd also remain undefeated after earning another victory over Chip Hand and Alonso Medina, 9-7.

In singles, Arizona only needed two sets in each match to sweep all six matches. Kim earned a victory over No. 82 Erik Nyman, 6-4, 6-2. No. 84 Lloyd prevailed on court two over Kokurin, 7-5, 6-2. Matalonga has won eight in a row with his victory over Hand in the No. 3 position, 6-3, 6-4. On court four, O'Grady conquered Roshon, 6-2, 7-6 (1). Andrus routed Kaufhold, 6-2, 6-1, on court five. In the No. 6 position, Warkentin trounced Bradshaw, 6-1, 6-0.

Arizona will be in action again on Friday, Feb. 20, when they open Pac-10 play against USC. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m., at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
