Box Score TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona defeated Pima College 13-0 in five innings on Sunday afternoon at Hillenbrand Stadium to close out the Arizona Fall Invitational. UA finished the weekend 5-0 and outscored the five teams 66-2 over the three-day event.

Jessie Harper hit a pair of home runs, her second and third of the fall, and drove in five runs for the Wildcats. She led the Wildcat offensive onslaught that scored 13 runs on 14 hits.

UA used a trio of pitchers in the game that combined to throw the five-inning two-hitter. Taylor McQuillin (2 innings), Hanah Bowen (2 innings) and Taylor Gilmore (1 inning) combined to strike out seven Aztecs in the contest.

Harper hit a three-run homer with no one out in the bottom of the first inning to give the Wildcats the early 3-0 cushion.

Reyna Carranco padded the lead with a sacrifice fly in the second.

In the third, an error and a two-run-single by Joelle Krist helped the Cats add to their lead. Ivy Davis added a sacrifice fly to put the Cats up 8-0 after three.

UA added five in the fifth, two on a Harper homer, two on a Peanut Martinez triple and one on a single from Tamara Statman.

The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday at Hillenbrand Stadium when they welcome Eastern Arizona for a 10-inning game beginning at 4 p.m. MST.
