Tucson, Ariz.- The Arizona men's tennis team will compete in their first home matches of the spring season on Sunday, Feb. 5th when they face Arizona Christian University (11 a.m. MST) and Mesa Community College (3 p.m. MST) in LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. The 1-1 Wildcats began play two weeks ago, beating New Mexico (4-1) on January 14th two days before falling to the University of Central Florida (0-7).
 
Arizona Christian University will come to Tucson with a 1-2 record. The Phoenix fell at Weber State (1-6) a day before besting Southern Utah (4-0) on January 28. The following day, ACU fell at Idaho State University (1-6).

Mesa Community College is currently 1-1 on the season with a 0-7 loss against New Mexico State on January 27 followed by a 5-4 win over Western New Mexico University the following day. The Thunderbirds will face Imperial Valley Community College two days before coming to Tucson to face the Wildcats.

After their instate double header, the Wildcats will have only five days to prepare for their next home match which will come against Utah State. The Aggies will visit their previous head coach (Clancy Shields) coming off of two impressive wins: a 4-1 victory over Wichita State on Jan. 28, and a 4-3 victory the following day against No. 12 TCU.
