Tucson, Ariz- The 3-1 Arizona men's tennis team is set for another eventful weekend with three home matches scheduled over the next three days. The Wildcats will face the Utah State Aggies on Feb. 10th at 2 p.m. MST. The squad will then have a day to rest and recover before their second double header of the season against Marquette (9 a.m.) and GCU (3 p.m.) on Sunday, Feb. 12th.
This is the third time that the Wildcats and Aggies will compete against each other as the two teams met in San Diego during the fall season as well as the Wildcat Invitational. Arizona head coach Clancy Shield's old squad has had some success as of late. Utah State is 4-1 on the season and has been receiving top-25 votes ever since their victory over then 12th-ranked TCU.
Marquette is also 4-1 on the season and currently riding a four match win streak with victories over IUPUI, Illinois State, Toledo, and South Dakota St. They will compete against Utah State at 11 a.m. a day before taking on the Wildcats.
GCU is 5-2 on the season thus far, and the Antelopes haven't lost a match since they were swept by UCLA and Baylor to begin the season. Just like Marquette, GCU will be playing the Aggies (1:30 p.m.) a day before facing Arizona.
