SAN DIEGO, Calif. –  The Arizona men's tennis team fell to 8-8 on the season after a 4-0 loss to No. 30 Tulane at the San Diego Classic today. The Wildcats will face Drake in consolation play tomorrow at 10 a.m. MST after the Bulldogs' 4-2 loss to the Toreros.
 
The Tulane duo of sophomore Tyler Schick and freshman Ewan Moore bested junior Trent Botha and senior Oliver Plaskett on court two by a score of 6-1 not long before junior Shoki Kasahara and freshman Alejandro Reguant fell to the Green Wave team of senior Sebastian Rey and freshman Tim Ruetzel on court three.
 
The Wildcats couldn't turn things around in singles play. Kasahara fell to Tulane freshman Luis Erlenbusch (6-1, 6-2) on court five to give Tulane a 2-0 advantage prior to senior Will Kneale's 6-1, 6-3 loss to Moore on court five.  The Green Wave completed the sweep  with senior Chi-Shan Jao's 6-1, 6-3 win over Plaskett on court six.
