Gitte Heynemans led the Wildcats with a total of 21 singles wins and was tied for the lead with 12 wins during the spring season last year. Heynemans went 5-1 at the No. 4 spot in the lineup during the Spring, the best record from that position on the team. She looks to get her first win at Regionals this fall season.
Â

Q: Coming from Belgium, what was the most difficult obstacle you faced upon your arrival?
A: "The culture was and still is something I struggle with every now and then as it is different in many aspects from what I was used to at home."Â
